Chris Schofield – The Industrial Revolution and its effect on Australia

Chris Schofield will give an illustrated presentation on the Industrial Revolution, 1760-1840. He will cover the technological, social and political changes that took place during and after the event that changed the world. It will be a personal reflection incorporating a number of observations.

Chris is a former President of Hunters Hill Historical Society. He is a retired broadcastjournalist, who has worked for mainstream media organisations both in Australia and in the UK.
